Complex problems require comprehensive solutions.  The team of engineering professionals at CDCI, coupled with our land surveying team and aerial surveying services, is equipped with the skill and expertise to tackle the challenges that go along with transforming a piece of property into a development that meets the vision of our client and the requirements of the municipality where it is located.

Our business is knowing how to navigate the nuanced world of land planning and permitting and ensuring construction is cost effective, sustainable, and safe.  CDCI's breadth of experience has resulted in successful projects across New England.  Our goal is to provide each client with the project specific design and permitting services they require to achieve their project goals in a budget friendly and timely manner.  From a small site plan to a large scale development, CDCI is equipped to handle it all.

The all-important first stage of a project a development project is planning.  CDCI offers a full range of project planning services including site feasibility assessment, zoning and regulatory review, as well as conceptual plan preparation.  We’ll help put your vision on paper to maximize land use and comply with local and state regulations.

CDCI offers a broad range of civil engineering services including site, utility, roadway, septic, and drainage design.  We also work closely with a network of experienced professionals in wetland science, and transportation, geotechnical and environmental engineering to provide our clients with a one-stop shop for their site development needs.

Construction and permitting requirements are always changing.  We have extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal permit regulations, as well as significant experience presenting to local regulatory boards and commissions.  Our projects have involved complex permitting processes with Conservation Commissions, Planning Boards, Zoning Boards of Appeals, Boards of Health, and Departments of Environmental Protection, to name just a few.  We are committed to advocating on behalf of our clients, while balancing the concerns of the public, to obtain optimal results.

Once permits are issued, CDCI begins the process of preparing construction documents and specifications.  We work closely with our clients to review bids and ensure all aspects of construction are sufficiently addressed.  We also perform inspection and observation services to confirm that construction proceeds in compliance with the approved plans.
